What is hypnosis?

Simply put, hypnosis is a natural state of focused attention and heightened suggestibility, similar to the feeling one may get while they have been driving a long distance on the highway. This has been nicknamed "highway hypnosis" for this reason. In this state, your conscious mind relaxes, and allows your subconscious mind to more easily receptive to positive suggestions and create lasting change. Professional hypnosis uses proven, evidence-based techniques to help with different goals like habit change, getting rid of limiting beliefs, and more.

How many sessions will I need?

Everyone is unique, therefore their sessions are as well! The number of sessions will change according to the challenge, person, and the developments during hypnosis. However, on average many issues are helped with around 1-7 sessions.

What payment methods do you accept?

E-transfer and PayPal with possibly Stripe in the future. By using Paypal, credit card can be accepted as well.

Are your services covered by extended health benefits?

Most benefit plans will cover Nurse Psychotherapy but not all, due to policy updates do check directly with your insurance before an appointment. Ask if they cover psychotherapy by a nurse psychotherapist ( and certified nurse psychotherapist. ) Please ensure your coverage ahead of appointments. Payments are made before or at appointment time, and receipt given for you to claim with your insurance. Receipts are provided for your insurance or for tax purposes. My fees can also be claimed as a nurse therapy expense on income taxes up to 3 percent of your income for those that are not covered. There is no HST due to my nursing designation.

Do you provide direct billing?

Only with Green Shield currently. Due to the amount of administration that it adds as a solo provider, and to help keep costs down, I do not offer direct billing to other insurance. I provide invoices after payment for your to claim back, once again please clarify your insurance coverage first for services offered by a nurse psychotherapist

What is your cancellation policy?

Ideally you give us at least 24 hours notice so we can try to fill your time slot. Things do happen and we do realize sometimes this is not possible. No fee for cancellation is currently being charged, but with last minute cancellations we may reserve the right to not rebook an appointment. Please note, this policy is subject to updates.

What are the fees?

Currently, it is 135 per hypnosis appointment with packages being offered for buying 3/300 in some circumstances. Specialized appointments like past live exploration may be higher for a longer appointment.

I do stand alone appointments for hypnosis here and also psychotherapy and counselling.
